We operate a online radio station whose management and programming is based on community access and participation which reflects the special interests and needs of the listenership that the station serves.
We provide an important community resource that promotes connections and fosters a sense of belonging. We maintain a local focus for sharing ideas, music, arts, culture, news and opinions. We serve the people of our community by providing outlets for their creative skills and energies.
We value and respect everyone and are committed to promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in our broadcast and off-air activities. Everyone has a valid voice and we provide opportunities for personal expression that promote decency, acceptance and community cohesion.
We are inclusive and empower minority groups and marginalised members of the community through access and participation in programme making and the running of the station, promoting social inclusion.
We aim to provide experience in media and communications to individuals from all backgrounds, abilities and community groups, to involve people in their community radio service and to inspire creativity, expression and build their self-confidence.
